May 11-16th Cascades 6-day Course checks in

Lead Guide Pat Timson called to check in from the first 6-day course of the season. The group has had beautiful weather and has been enjoying their time learning glacier skills on Mt. Baker. On Wednesday they headed up the mountain and the whole group successfully summited via the Easton Glacier route. Snow conditions were somewhat challenging given the warm temps, but with snowshoes they were able to make good progress and summit under clear skies. The team heads down today and back to Seattle after a fun week. Congratulations to all!
