Alpine Ascents 1st summit of the season

First Alpine Ascents Rainier summit of the season, 1/2 an hour ago. Full team to the top in good weather !

Friday, March 26, 2010

Our first Rainier program of the year, our Denali Prep, returned and reported good conditions from Paradise to Camp Muir. The snow level at Paradise is about 4 feel less than normal this time of year. Winds were very strong at Camp Muir, and the avalanche danger above was significant, so our group elected not to make a summit attempt.
