Lead guide Phil Marino called in from the 8-day Emmons course today. The group is doing really well. They are using today for crevasse rescue practice before moving up to Camp Schurman tomorrow, where they will meet up with two additional summit guides. The team has been enjoying sunny, summer weather for the most part, but experienced a big thunderstorm and electrical storm last night! There is a chance of another shower/storm tonight before the forecast becomes more stable with fair weather again. The team plans to make a summit attempt on Wednesday.
