The July 1-3 team enthusiastically took on Mt. Rainier, but was unfortunately turned around by conditions above the top of the Cleaver. The group enjoyed themselves nonetheless.
The July 3-5 team is preparing to move up to high camp at Ingraham Flats. The group endured windy and whiteout conditions hiking up the Muir snowfield yesterday, but is enjoying a BEAUTIFUL July 4th today on the mountain. If conditions remain clear they should be able to see fireworks from high camp before their summit attempt tomorrow morning! Lead guide Stuart said the entire group is doing well and enjoying the sunshine.
