Winter was full-on at Mount Rainier this week: two days of stormy weather bookended a spectacular day of dry powder snowshoeing with choice views of the Mountain. Gave us ample opportunity to tackle winter camping and avalanche awareness skills. What a way to kick off the Cascade season!
