Lead Guide Matt Nightengale called to check in from Mt. Baker this morning. The group has experienced all four seasons in the past four days! After a couple days of wet weather, yesterday there was a break and the group moved up to Sandy Camp in clearer conditions.
Everyone is doing well and practicing skills they hope to put into practice on a summit attempt tomorrow or early Friday morning. The guides are watching the weather to see when the best window for summiting will be in the next couple days. Lastly, apparently George is bummed the Rangers are going to Game 6, but hopefully being in the mountains will take his mind off their loss last night!
