Emmons Team Summit Attempt Thursday
Lead guide Eitan Green called to report that a mix of blowing snow/rain and poor visibility forced the team to turn around at about 11,600' on their summit attempt. A wet low pressure system has been moving through the region this week, which the group experienced first-hand. They headed back to Camp Shurman to get warm and dry, and are heading out to the White River trailhead this morning. Mountain weather can be humbling any time of year!
