Guide Seth Timpano just phoned from Camp Muir to report the first successful Rainier summits of the season for the Denali preparation course! After a week of learning mountaineering skills and safe practices for moving in the mountains, Seth and guide Craig VanHoy led three climbers up to the 14,400' summit under calm winds and clear skies today. The team ascended the Ingraham Direct route and made it safely back down to Muir early this afternoon. Congratulations to the team! Seth sent this beautiful photo from the course on Wednesday.
